Topic: Coaching for Compassion
Facilitator: Susanna Clavello, ACC, ICFSA Board Member
Location: Zoom Webinar
In the current climate of uncertainty, individuals may have a hard time staying calm and objective, and showing up at their best. Personal struggles, inner barriers, worries and fears may be overwhelming, and getting in people’s way of showing up at their best.
Into this context speaks the coaching competency of Co-Creating the Coaching Relationship:
Partnering with the client to define what the client believes they need to address or resolve to achieve what they want to accomplish in the session
Partnering with the client to define or reconfirm measures of success for what the client wants to accomplish in the coaching engagement or individual session
Successful coaches build resonant relationships with their clients where hope, mindfulness, compassion and playfulness are keys to overcoming the damage from chronic stress, and where growth and resilience can be nurtured.
In this Coaching Mastermind we will discuss how to address the real needs of the client and their expected outcomes when challenges are approached with emotional intelligence versus “fixing what’s wrong.”
