About the Presenter:

Dr. Lisa Walker is a leadership psychologist, executive coach, and professional speaker, working closely with corporate leaders to help them grow strategically and tactically from both a personal and organizational perspective. Through a powerful partnership of coaching, consulting, advising and facilitation, Dr. Walker empowers leaders and organizations to develop agile, engaged and high-performing individuals and teams able to manage growth, embrace change and expand performance. She is known for providing the right balance of challenge and support necessary for developing leadership excellence. 

Dr. Walker is an expert in helping leaders develop and harness executive presence and leadership agility. She draws on her over 20 years’ experience as a coach, collaborative facilitator, and clinician, working with leaders in complex business and relationship matters. She is an advanced level mediator and facilitator, who is tapped by leaders and organizations to help navigate challenging people issues and difficult conversations.  She creates and delivers customized leadership development programs; including coaching engagements, workshops, and leadership retreats that help leaders and their teams build new knowledge and tools to improve communication, especially if trust or collaboration among teams or among team members needs to be built.

Dr. Walker earned her Bachelor’s degree and Master of Arts degree in psychology from Rhode Island College and her Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a Columbia University Certified Executive Coach, as well as a Marshall Goldsmith Certified Behavioral Coach (individual and team). She is an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC). 

Dr. Walker served on the faculty at the University of Texas at Austin, in the Department of Human Development and currently serves as a mentor at the IC2 Institute at the University of Texas at Austin.

Before her work as a leadership development consultant, Dr. Walker practiced as a psychologist, specializing in Collaborative Law and complex high conflict matters for individuals and organizations. This work drew heavily on her clinical skills as well as her advanced-level mediation and facilitation skills. As a C-Suite coach and trusted partner, she works with senior executives in some of the world’s largest organizations, helping them tackle tough leadership issues. 

Dr. Walker holds numerous assessment and development certifications and qualifications including: MBTI, Hogan, Birkman, Emotional Intelligence, Conversational Intelligence, Global Leadership Assessment, Team Coaching, Neethling Brain Instrument (NBI), and Total SDI.
