Bios:

Scott Hopkins

Scott Hopkins is Broadway Bank’s Leadership and Talent Development Officer and loves igniting the fire within others to reach for their full potential. He designs and delivers training programs for employees at all levels. These programs include organizational change, diversity and inclusion, resiliency and mental toughness, and driving top performance … just to name a few.

Scott began his career as an Officer in the Air Force. While serving, Scott led the team that built a culture and leadership survey for over 800,000 military members. He was also a member on the U.S. Vice President’s National Performance Review Benchmarking team.

Throughout his career Scott has witnessed firsthand the impact of employee engagement on retention, productivity and performance. An early adopter and thought leader in artificial intelligence, Scott explores how emerging tech can drive smarter talent strategies and real-world results. He also seeks to incorporate the latest neuroscience research and create connected employee experiences. He has expertise with hiring assessments, performance management, training, coaching and leadership development. Scott has done extensive research focusing on unconscious bias and how it affects our brains, work, and organizations. He has applied these skills in various industries including healthcare and banking.

Scott has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Master’s in Management, has 60 hours towards a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies and is pursuing a coaching diploma from the Applied Neuroscience Institute. He has certifications from Coach University, Fierce Conversations, and DISC Personality Assessments.

Personally, he’s married to his wife Valarie and has two adult daughters.

Aurora Geis, PCC

Aurora Ortega-Geis is a seasoned executive coach and talent and workforce development expert with over 25 years in financial services, 9 years in corporate governance, and 9 years in talent and workforce development. As CEO of A GO Strategy, she leverages her experience, including spearheading the U.S.'s first New Energy Economy and the Department of Labor’s first Digital Marketing Apprenticeship, which includes 40 hours of performance coaching curriculum. These global and national initiatives guide leaders and organizations in adopting a learning and innovative mindset and achieving strategic transformation to meet the needs of energy and talent.

Aurora leverages her extensive experience to guide organizations in adopting the learning mindset of an apprentice, becoming true masters in a learning organization. She guides the inside-out transformation of strategy and talent, catalyzing innovation while adopting agile approaches. She guides leaders to inspire and empower others, and challenges them to overcome fear to become more resilient, creative, and innovative, transferring knowledge mastery and accelerating their purpose, as well as the purpose in others, to transform the marketplace.

Aurora is married to Greg, retired, and has an adult daughter who has a knack for political strategy, poetic writing, and fiercely humors cultural trends, and a son who has found his current purpose serving as a US Army reservist. She is a certified coach with ICF as a PCC, and holds several certifications, including vertical leadership development, emotional intelligence, EQi 2.0®️, the Energy Leadership Index®️, Brain Neuroscience, and Red Team Thinking®️.
